One of the things I have missed about blogging is sharing our favorite recipes and weekly meal planning ideas! It is also something that really helps me stay organized in the afternoons as well as save on our monthly food budget.
Having a plan helps me to write a specific grocery list for things we will eat that week – rather than a list of what I might want to cook! In the end I save not only precious time, but a lot of money by shopping my pantry first, and buying JUST what I need to make our weekly meals.
Here is our menu plan for this week:
Sunday – Baked BBQ Chicken and Green Beans
Monday – Tacos in a bag (Our kids LOVE this one!)
Tuesday – Steak and a fresh salad
Wednesday – PIZZA NIGHT
Thursday – Leftovers (Mac-n-cheese on hand for backup)
Friday – Pulled Pork + Carrots
Saturday – Baked Chicken over a fresh salad
